Chemical Peels
Chemical peels use a controlled chemical reaction to smooth the surface of your skin, improve skin tone and color, diminish wrinkles and shrink blood vessels and pore size. Several types of peels are available. Peels made of a glycolic or salicylic acid solution in much stronger concentrations than in over-the-counter products containing alpha-hydroxy acids are well-tolerated and associated with no downtime.

Our Glycolic/Lactic Acid Peel not only exfoliates dull skin cells, but also hydrates the skin and stimulates collagen production, bringing dramatic improvements in fine lines, skin color, tone and texture for an unmatched glow. Glycolic peels treat sun damage and aging of the hands by stimulating cell turnover and boosting collagen production to reveal more youthful, even-toned skin.
Our Salicylic/Mandelic Acid Peel is formulated to ward off break-outs, reduce the appearance of pores, balance skin tones and diminish lines. Salicylic acid is one of the most effective agents in combating facial oil, acne and blemishes. People with aspirin allergies are not appropriate candidates for Salicylic acid peels.
Most patients will require a series of treatments combined with a home care regimen to achieve optimal results. Chemical peels can also be combined with a schedule of microdermabrasion treatments to accelerate the complexion’s remodeling process.
